K. Management Bay Objective ( MBO )
Pertama kali diperkenalkan oleh Peter Drucker dalam bukunya The Practice of Management pada tahun 1954. Management by objective dapat juga disebut sebagai manajemen berdasarkan sasaran, manajemen berdasarkan hasil (Management by Result), Goals management, Work planning and review dan lain sebagainya yang pada intinya sama.
Management by objective menekankan pada pentingnya peranan tujuan dalam perencanaan yang efektif, dengan menetapkan prosedur pencapaian baik yang formal maupun informal, pertama dengan menetapkan tujuan yang akan dicapai dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan yang akan dilaksanakan sampai selesai baru diadakan peninjauan kembali atas pekerjaan yang telah dilakukan. Kegiatan MBO singkatan dari management by objective yaitu proses partisipasi yang melibatkan bawahan dan para manajer dalam setiap tingkatan organisasi yang dirumuskan dengan bentuk misi atau sasaran, yang dapat diukur dimana penggunaan ukuran ini sebagai pedoman bagi pengoperasian satuan kerja.
L. Sistem Management By Objective Yang Efektif
1. Adanya komitmen para manajer tujuan pribadi dan organisasi, sehingga dia harus berjumpa dengan bawahannya untuk memberikan penetapan tujuan dan menilainya.
2. Penetapan tujuan manajemen puncak yang dinyatakan dalam nilai tertentu yang dapat diukur, sehingga antara manajer dan bawahan mempunyai gagasan yang jelas tentang apa yang diharapkan oleh manajemen puncak, sehingga dapat diketahui antara individu dengan tujuan organisasi secara keseluruhan.
3. Tujuan perseorangan, dimana antara manajer dan bawahan harus merumuskan tujuan bersama dan tanggung jawab terhadap bagiannya secara jelas guna memahami tentang apa yang akan dicapai.
4. Perlunya partisipasi semua pihak, dimana semakin besar partisipasi dari semua anggota, maka semakin besar tujuan yang akan tercapai.
5. Otonomi dan implementasi rencana, disini bawahan dan manajer bebas untuk mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan program-program pencapaian tujuannya.
6. Peninjauan kembali prestasi yang dilakukan secara periodik terhadap kemajuan tujuan.

In the trial, which is in its "very preliminary" stages, Mouse 5 was the only survivor, with two others dying of a coramsine overdose and another two put down after their tumors returned.
